Dariel and Louise Riffle of Belpre celebrated their 50th anniversary with a surprise reception given by their children at Rockland United Methodist Church in Belpre.
They were married Jan. 19, 1963, in Weston, W.Va., by the late Rev.Lester B. Sturm.
They are the parents of USAF MSgt. Joseph Todd (Angie) Riffle of Cameron, N.C.; USAF Ret SSgt. Penne L. Riffle of Belpre, "adopted daughters" Amy Mayle (Clint) Anderson of Columbus, and Barbara Michaels of Belpre.

They are the grandparents of Jakob D. Riffle of Belpre and Brittany and Dakoya Riffle of Cameron.
She retired from Quaker State.
He retired from the United Parcel Service.
They are active members of Rockland United Methodist Church and enjoy spending time with their family, bluegrass music and traveling.
