Robin and Joan Swinsburg of Belpre announce the engagement of their son, William Albert Swinsburg, to Barbara Beatrice Gillespie, daughter of Keith and Melissa Miller of York, Pa.
The bride-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Spring Grove High School and a 2011 graduate of Messiah College in Grantham, Pa., with degrees in English and French education. She is a French teacher for York Suburban Schools in Pennsylvania.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2007 graduate of Warren High School and a 2011 graduate of Messiah College with degrees in biology and chemistry. He is attending graduate school at the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, R.I., where he is a teaching assistant in the biology department.
