John W. Seese

John Wesley Seese, 54, of Walker, Kites Run Community, passed away Jan. 18, 2013, at the Cleveland Clinic.

He was born Aug. 22, 1958, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Wesley Virgil Allen Seese and Mary Lou (Monroe) Seese of Pennsboro.

John was an auto technician for Walmart in Marietta, and was a member of Landmark Baptist Church in Parkersburg. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Walker Hunting Club and loved to go to the family farm at Ellenboro. John will be sadly missed by his family and friends, even his furry friends.

Surviving in addition to his mother, is his wife, Malena Jane (Wingrove) Seese; brothers, Steven Seese (Stephanie) of Harrisville and Virgil Seese (Mary Jane) of West Union; special niece, Samantha Lamp (Derrick) of Harrisville; and father and mother-in-law, Roger and Jane Wingrove of Walker.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home, Pennsboro, with Pastor Michael Lamb officiating. Interment will follow at Ellenboro Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday.
