VIENNA - Ashton Brown hit 11 of 23 field goals, 12 of 14 free throws and all but two of his seven 3-pointers en route to 39 points as Ohio Valley University tripped W.Va. Wesleyan, 83-82, in overtime here Thursday inside the Snyder Activity Center.
Former West Virginia University recruit Noah Cottrill fouled Brown with nine seconds left in overtime and the Fighting Scot canned all three foul shots to set the final score. Cottrill, who missed 12 of 13 field goals, couldn't get the game-winning jumper to go in.
T.J. Thompson went off for 29 points and Soren Dossing had 25 off the bench for the Bobcats.

Miami (Ohio) 78, Ohio 56
OXFORD, Ohio In the 75th all-time meeting between Ohio and its arch-rival Miami RedHawks Thursday night, the visiting Bobcats were beaten, 78-56, by a strong Miami squad, 78-56.
Ohio freshman guard Kiyanna Black continued her streak of solid play, scoring a game and career-high 26 points.
Black was one of two Bobcats to score in double figures, as Erin Bailes also chipped in 10 points of her own on 3-for-9 shooting. Ohio senior Tina Fisher was the team's leading rebounder, pulling down five boards in the loss.
Miami had a very balanced scoring effort, with three cagers achieving double figures. Hannah Robertson led the way for the RedHawks, hitting 8-of-11 shots to end the day with 21 points. She was joined in double figures by Kristen Olowinski (19 points) and Courtney Osborn (12). Olowinski pulled down a game-high 15 rebounds to record the game's lone double-double.
Ohio (5-10, 0-3 MAC) leapt out to an early 5-2 lead, going ahead thanks to buckets by Black and Lexie Baldwin. With Ohio holding a 4-2 advantage, Ashley Fowler split a pair of free throws to give the Bobcats their largest lead of the game at the 17:53 mark.
Holding a 13-9 advantage, Miami (10-6, 2-1 MAC) was then able to open up a 23-6 run to take a commanding 36-15 lead. Black was able to put it to an end with her first three-pointer of the night, connecting from the top of the key to pull the 'Cats within 18 points (36-18). Just a few seconds later, Ohio was able to piece together a 6-0 run on three-pointers from Black and Bailes, cutting the Miami lead to 14 at 38-24.
The 'Cats would enter halftime trailing by 13 points (41-28). Ohio shot 35.7 percent (10-of-28) in the first half, including operating at 3-for-9 clip from three-point range. Black had a very strong first 20 minutes, leading all scorers with 14 points on 6-of-14 shooting. The freshman went 2-for-4 from distance during the first frame.
Ohio State 68, Indiana 45
COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio State righted the ship and recorded its first Big Ten victory with a 68-45 win over visiting Indiana Thursday night at Value City Arena.
Tayler Hill led four Buckeyes in double figures with 15 points and eight rebounds as the Buckeyes improved to 1-4 in the Big Ten and 11-7 overall. Indiana fell to 10-7 and 1-3 in the Big Ten.
Ohio State led by six at halftime, 30-24, but opened the second half on a 17-6 run to take a 47-30 lead with 13:28 left. Darryce Moore, who finished with 14 points and six rebounds, had six points during the deciding second-half run.
Indiana pulled to within 14 on a 3-pointer by Nicole Bell, but that would be as close as the Hoosiers would come. Two free throws and a 3-pointer by Hill at the 4:31 mark gave the Buckeyes their largest lead at 62-37.
Ohio State's defense held Indiana to 31 percent shooting in the second half and 16 percent from 3-point range. Indiana's leading scorer, Aulani Sinclair (19.6 ppg), scored just five points and was 2- of -15 from the field.
Fot IU, Ashley Adams and Aleksandra Dobranic each finished with 10 points while Ameryst Alston turned in another solid all-around game with seven points, seven assists and eight rebounds.
Tulsa 67, Marshall 49
TULSA, Okla. - Kelsee Grovey's 20 points topped all scorers and host Tulsa held a commanding 38-19 halftime cushion on Thursday en route to an easy 67-49 victory versus Marshall in Conference USA action.
The Thundering Herd (6-10, 0-3) shot just 33.3 percent from the floor and was paced by Shay Weaver's 12 points. Suporia Dickens tallied 11 points and Chukwuka Ezeigbo added 10 for MU.
Tulsa (6-10, 1-2) got 18 points from Taleya Mayberry, 10 more by Kadan Brady and Loren McDaniel added five points and a game-high 12 boards. Mayberry also had seven steals and six boards.

VIENNA - Allie Browne had a game-high 20 points and added six assists here Thursday night to help visiting W.Va. Wesleyan post a 67-58 victory against Ohio Valley University inside the Snyder Activity Center.
The Fighting Scots, now 0-14 overall and 0-10 in the West Virginia Conference, trailed 30-25 at halftime and was led by Shelby Way's 13 points, six assists and five steals.
Wesleyan (5-8, 4-6) received all of its points from the starting lineup. Kerry Conroy chipped in 14 points, Danesha Richardson had 13, Atavia Blake notched seven and Brittany Maxey posted the game's lone double-double with 13 markers and 10 caroms.
Ohio Valley, which plays host at 5:30 p.m. Monday to Shepherd, got 10 points from Danielle Dunnagan, eight by Amy Brooks and seven from Janelle Silver. Kayla Parsley pulled down 10 rebounds in the setback.
