Mildred Alberta Garvin, 69, of The Willows, Parkersburg, W.Va., formerly of Webster Springs, W.Va., died Jan. 11, 2013.
She was born Jan. 11, 1944, in Webster County, daughter of the late Henry and Vada Garvin of Webster Springs. Mildred was of the Pentecostal faith.
She is survived by three brothers, Lonnie (Joann) Garvin of Glenville, W.Va., Carmel (Bonnie) Garvin and Cam (Betty) Garvin, both of Parkersburg; two sisters, Beulah (Ken) Heater of Buckhannon, W.Va. and Helen (Dan) Wagoner of Little Hocking, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Juanita (Albert) Bee.
Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Monday at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, with Rev. Paul Rounds and Rev. Frank Bounds officiating. Burial was at Clifton Ford Cemetery, Elk River Road, Webster Springs.
