PARKERSBURG - The Parkersburg Police Department arrested two brothers on felony nighttime burglary charges Thursday.
Investigators said the men entered a home in the 1500 block of Covert Street uninvited during the early morning hours of Jan. 1. Police said the two men assaulted a man inside the home, to the extent he had to be transported to the hospital for medical treatment.
Detectives arrested Andrew Paul Davis, 26, 14 Dempsey Ave., Parkersburg, on burglary charges. Michael Bradley Davis, 27, 14 Dempsey Ave., Parkersburg, also was arrested on burglary charges.

Andrew Davis was arraigned in Wood County Magistrate Court and released on $1,000 bond. His brother Michael Davis was charged with burglary and being a fugitive from justice. The 27-year-old had been issued a warrant by the Athens County Sheriff's Office on Feb. 8, 2010, for stating he violated the terms of his community control.
The warrant stated he was originally convicted of one count of possession of heroin and one count of identity fraud. He was arraigned and held on a $5,000 bond. Michael Davis is being transferred to the North Central Regional Jail, police said.
Each man faces one to 15 years in prison if convicted of the nighttime burglary charge.
