Mary Nye Daubenspeck, 76, of Cairo, died Jan. 9, 2013, at her residence.

She was born Jan. 17, 1936 in Parkersburg, the daughter of the late William and Lucy Amick Boesher. Mary was a homemaker and a former Girl Scout Leader in Canton, Ohio. She was a member of Cairo Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband, Alvin Finley Daubenspeck; daughter, Charlotte Luann Haut (Kenneth) of Staffordsville, Ky.; son, Alvin "Chip" Daubenspeck (Deananne) of Brewster, Ohio; grandchildren, Jennifer Stapleton (John Mike) and Rebecca Haut, both of Staffordsville, Ky., Ashley Bibey (Kyle) of Gnadenhutten, Ohio, and Alvin Finley Daubenspeck V of Brewster, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Lyllie, and Kyla Bibey.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, at the Cairo Presbyterian Church with Pastor Gale Rimer and Pastor David Coffman officiating. Burial will follow in the Cairo Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at Raiguel Funeral Home, Cairo, today, from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
