Eloise B. Perkinson, 87, of Parkersburg, formerly of Virginia, passed away Jan. 3, 2013, at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.
She was born Dec. 10, 1925, in Edenton, N.C., a daughter of the late Richard and Ollie Streater Bunch.
She was a volunteer at Riverside Hospital in Newport News, Va., in the gift shop for many years. Eloise was a homemaker, and a member of First United Methodist Church in Newport News, Va.
She is survived by her son, David Perkinson and wife, Peggy, of Parkersburg; three grandchildren, Brad, Kayla and Kyle Perkinson; and a sister, Emma Lou Guy of Glouster, Va.
In addition to her parents, Eloise was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Perkinson, who passed away in 1975; her twin sister, Louise Bower; and sister, Mary Smith.
There will be no service or viewing locally. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at Newport News, Va., at a later date.
