BEREA, Ohio - Chris Ameen led all scorers with 18 points as Baldwin-Wallace gave Marietta College its first Ohio Athletic Conference setback after posting a 94-71 victory on Saturday afternoon.
B-W (9-4, 4-2) also received 17 points from Kyle Payne and 15 more from Kevin Krakowiak.
Marietta College, now 9-4 overall and 5-1 in the OAC, trailed 46-35 at halftime and allowed B-W to shoot 61 percent from the floor.
The Pioneers, who play host Wednesday to Mount Union, had a trio of players finish in double figures - Jason Humphrey (16), JJ Martin (10) and Matt Napier (10).

INSTITUTE - While Glenville State trailed only 38-32 at halftime here Saturday, host West Virginia State exploded for 67 second-half points and picked up a 105-92 triumph versus the Pioneers in WVIAC action.
The Jackets (5-6, 3-3) got a game-high 33 points from Anton Hutchins. Raymon Austin had 23 points along with a game-high dozen caroms while Hutchins pulled down 10 boards to also finish with a double-double.
DJ Blanks, who had seven rebounds, went off for 32 points in the setback for Glenville State. Jamel Morris added 25 points and five steals for the Pioneers (7-5, 3-4).

Glenville State 119, West Virginia State 92
INSTITUTE Glenville State broke open a close game by hitting 13 shots beyond the 3-point line in the second half here Saturday en route to a 119-92 win at West Virginia State.
Ashleigh Fossett (23), Kenyell Goodson (22) and Ginny Mills (22) all went for at least 20 points in the victory. Kenyona Simmons posted a 14-point, 11-rebound effort while LaToya Hambrick added 10 boards as did Jessica Parsons.
DaShawna Carey tallied 11 points while Jelena Elez dished out 10 assists for the victors.
Jasmine Blanton poured in a WVIAC season-best 35 points on 14 of 21 shooting in 32 minutes of work for the Jackets (3-6, 3-3). Maria Femia added 19 points while Jordan Brock chipped in 12 points. Former Parkersburg South Patriot Asia Greenleaf snared 11 rebounds and had seven points while India Taste dished out a team-best nine assists.
The Pioneers (11-2, 6-1) canned 22 treys in the game.

MARIETTA - Baldwin-Wallace led just 27-20 at halftime, but caught fire after the break and rolled to a 66-38 victory here Saturday versus host Marietta College in Ohio Athletic Conference action.
The Pioneers (6-7, 1-5) were paced in scoring by Candice Alexander with 15 points.
Jessica Carpenter tallied 15 points for B-W (7-6, 2-4) while teammate Shari Mangas chipped in 10 markers.
