Mary Catherine Wigal

A good friend and family member, Mary Catherine Wigal of Vienna, W.Va., has peacefully ventured forth on her journey home with her Lord by her side on Dec. 27, 2012.

She was the loving mother of three daughters, Pamela L. McGary of Knoxville, Tenn., Rachelle D. McGary of Clearwater, Fla., and Saundra K. McGary Eaton of Vienna, W.Va.; the grandmother of two granddaughters, Latosha R. McGary of Largo, Fla., and Samantha A. Cox of Knoxville, Tenn.; as well as being the great-grandmother of two great-granddaughters, Jazmine J. Flansberg and Payten M. Flansberg of Largo, Fla., who, in their loving strength Mary will live on.

She is survived by her sister, JoAnn Littleton; and five brothers, Lawrence Littleton, Robert Hurst, Cecil Littleton, David Littleton and Edward Littleton.

Mary was a retiree from Johns Manville after 26 years of service, a dedicated animal lover and a human mom of four dogs, Stinkerpoo, Gizmo, Lexi and Roxie Ann. She loved bowling on her league, bingo and collecting butterflies.

The viewing will be held noon Monday at Lambert-Tatman in Vienna, W.Va., with a 2 p.m. funeral procession with burial immediately following at Parkersburg Memorial Gardens. A gathering will be held following the burial at the Senior Center on 29th Street in Vienna, W.Va.

Potted plants are requested if you are wishing to send anything to the funeral home, or if you wish, she has asked for donations be mailed to the Humane Society of Parkersburg in her memory.
