Ron and Jan Crego of Parkersburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Anne-Marie Crego, to Clifton Scott Wilson, son of the Rev. Ernie and Susan Wilson of Hickory, N.C.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Suda Scroggins of Parkersburg and the late Donald Scroggins, and the late Ralph and Mary Crego. She is a 2002 graduate of Parkersburg High School and a 2007 graduate of West Virginia University with a master's degree in secondary education and bachelor's degree in foreign language. She is a teacher for Jackson County Schools.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Bill and Margaret Wilson of Hickory, N.C., and the late Bud Weaver and Opalee Wilson. He is a 2001 graduate of Fred T. Foard High School, a 2006 graduate of Crown College of the Bible with a bachelor's degree in pastoral theology and a master's degree in ministry and a 2011 graduate of Victory Baptist Institute with a doctorate in divinity and a master's degree in divinity. He works for Turner-Baxter Inc. and is seeking a full-time ministry position in the Parkersburg area.
