Paul and Ellen Fordyce of Washington, W.Va., will celebrate their 50th anniversary with an open house given by family members from 5-8 p.m. Dec. 28 at Fairlawn Baptist Church in Parkersburg.
The couple were married Dec. 28, 1962, by the late Rev. John Horne and the Rev. Leonard Wolfe at The First Pilgrim Holiness in Parkersburg.
She is the daughter of Cora Vannoy Wigal and the late Russell B. Vannoy of Parkersburg.

They are both retired from the E.I. DuPont Company and are active members of Fairlawn Baptist Church.
