A potluck dinner will be held at Pennsville United Methodist Church today, following worship service. A ham will be supplied for the dinner.

The Pennsville United Methodist Church Christmas Eve Service will be at 9 p.m.

The year-end meeting of the Penn Township trustees will be at 7 p.m. Thursday. Immediately after the business meeting, the reorganization meeting will be held. The two meetings will be held in the Pennsville Township Hall.

Kim Foreman of McConnelsville, daughter of Fred and Lois, graduated from Zane State College with a bachelor's degree in science and health services, also in administration and long-term care management.

Rob Sidwell came home from Kent State on Wednesday for his holiday vacation. He doesn't have to return to school until the middle of January.

On Wednesday night Bev and Rob went to Bible study in Pennsville and returned to Mae's house with a big box of fruit. Mae was very very pleased with the fruit as they make up her diet. This correspondent heard this week that her cousin Gene (Grimes) Hill passed away in an Indianapolis hospital recently. She will be buried beside her husband Charles Hill in Florida.
