Roy and Carolyn Buchanan will celebrate their 50th anniversary from 1-4 p.m. Dec. 29 at the Wirt County Senior Center on Washington Street in Elizabeth.
They were married on Dec. 25, 1962, at the Cox's Mills Methodist Church by the Rev. F. R. Armentrout.
He is the son of the late Wayne and Opal Buchanan. He is retired from G.E.
