The Beverly United Methodist Church is holding a Christmas concert at 7 p.m. today. The evening will feature both sacred and secular holiday music by the adult vocal and hand bell choirs as well as the children's bell choir. Everyone is welcome to attend this evening of Christmas music. A free will offering will be taken to help defray the cost of upcoming maintenance tuning and repair to the adult hand bells. The Beverly United Methodist Church is at 700 Park St.
STUDENT OF THE MONTH ANNOUNCED
These Beverly-Center Elementary School students were chosen as Student of the Month for November: Kindergarten - Lexi Bishman and Maggie Fulton; First Grade - Corey Adams and Cara Smith; Second Grade - Caleb McCurdy; Third Grade - Becca Arnold and Ethyn Zimmer; Fourth grade - Maria Fisher; Fifth Grade - Sophia Curry and Ethan Webb; Sixth Grade - Tyler Duskey and Luke Nelson.
THIS WEEK AT THE LIBRARY
The Beverly Public Library will host two programs this Wednesday. At 11 a.m., pre-readers ages 2-5 and a parent or adult caregiver are invited to Story Time. This will be a fun-filled hour featuring a story, movie, snack, craft, games and fun. Please be reminded a responsible adult is requested to remain with the child throughout the program. At 1 p.m., a representative from Ohio University Eastern Campus will be on hand for a nutrition class. Questions about either of these events, or upcoming programs, at the library may be made by contacting the library at 984-4060. As a reminder, the library will be closed Dec. 24-25 and will reopen for regular hours on Dec. 26.
