Edna Mae Dailey, 65, of Parkersburg, W.Va., went to be with her loving Savior on Dec. 14, 2012, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Washington, W.Va., a daughter of the late George E. and Juanita "Faye" (Deem) Kirk.
She was a bookkeeper for Wood County Board of Education, and then Criss Enterprise. She was an active member of Grace Gospel Church. She loved camping, fishing and playing with her grandkids.
She is survived by her husband, Don Dailey; two daughters, Cheryl Morehead (Paul) of Parkersburg and Becky Tanner (Kevin) of Washington, W.Va.; grandchildren, David (Michelle), Joe and Chelsea Morehead, all of Parkersburg, Devon and Jason Tanner, both of Washington, W.Va., and Phillip Morehead of Athens, Ohio; six brothers; two special brothers-in-law, Ernie Dailey and Tever Byrd; lots and lots of nieces and nephews; and many dear friends and brothers and sisters in Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving mother-in-law, Hazel Dailey; stepfather, Howard Davis; sister, Eleanor "Aunt Jakie" Kirk; brother, Gerald Kirk; sister, Jean Madison Byrd; and two unborn great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with the Rev. Dave Cumpston and the Rev. Roger Benson officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday.
