Ralph Everett Hyde, Jr., 68 of Harrisville, died Dec. 10, 2012, at Camden Clark, Medical Center.
He was born June 24, 1944 at Glen Dale, W.Va., the son of the late Ralph Everett Hyde Sr. and Helen C. Delval Hyde.
Ralph was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked as lead operator at Axens, North America, Willow Island Plant. He was a generous and kind man who liked to help people, loved life and his family. He loved auto racing, fast cars and was a practical joker.
He is survived by his wife, Jacintha Faye Manning Hyde; daughter, Alissa Ann Smith (Derrick) of Vienna; son, Richard Martin Hyde (Michelle) of Harrisville; brother, Robert G. Hyde (Dee) of New Matamoras, Ohio; sister, Jeryl Lipscomb (David) of Harrisville; grandchildren, Aaron Smith, Grant Hyde, Martin Hyde, and Vivian Hyde; and nine nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Gossic.
Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m., Friday, at Raiguel Funeral Home, Harrisville with Pastor Tim Nichols officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-5 p.m.
