PARKERSBURG - Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force agents found items used in the production of methamphetamine in the 1100 block of 19th Street on Tuesday afternoon.
Officers were called to the scene by a citizen who found the items Tuesday at about 1:30 p.m., said spokesman for the Parkersburg Police Department Sgt. Greg Collins.
"Upon arrival, officers noted that a found duffel bag contained what appeared to be ingredients and items commonly used in the production of methamphetamine," he said.

Task force agents secured the duffel bag containing the items, near McKinley Elementary School, and are investigating the incident.
Police said there are no suspects at this time.
