Ina Marie Queen, 85, of Parkersburg, died on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at Ravenswood Care Center.
She was born Nov. 16, 1927 in Newberne, W.Va., to the late Adrian "Tink" and Ruby Gribble Queen.
Ina was an avid reader and enjoyed crafting for family and friends. She worked as a receptionist at the Parkersburg Beauty College, Dr. Corder Dental Office as a secretary, and the Dils Center as a seamstress.
She is survived by one sister, K. Louise Law of Washington, W.Va.; one niece, Jacqueline Chancellor (Bryan) of Newnan, Ga.; one nephew, Jonathan Law (Julie) of Parkersburg; one great-niece, Courtney Law; and her friends and family in Newberne, where she enjoyed spending time.
The funeral service will be Friday, at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg beginning at 11 a.m. with Pastor Tom Gribble officiating. Burial will follow the service at Horn Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
