Stephanie Jo Piehowicz and Bryce Arthur Culver were united in marriage on June 16 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marietta with Monsignor Michael Campbell officiating the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. Thomas and Barbara Piehowicz of Marietta. She is the granddaughter of the late Hugh and Betty Flanagan of Glendale, W.Va., and the late Joseph and Mary Piehowicz of Benwood, W.Va.
The bridegroom is the son of Brent and Marjorie Culver of Delaware, Ohio. He is the grandson of Robert Dyson and the late Helen Dyson of Steubenville, and the late Arthur and Pauline Culver of Sunbury, Ohio.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless floral organza ball gown in ivory with a sheer corseted jewel encrusted bodice, sweetheart neckline, floral A-line skirt embellished with crystals, and a chapel-length organza train. She wore a three tier fingertip-length veil with Russian netting and tulle accented with crystal detail. The bride carried a bouquet of magenta peonies gathered at the stem with black and white striped ribbon, with a heirloom charm from her maternal grandparents and a piece her mother's wedding veil attached.
Maid of honor was Jennifer Jensen of San Francisco, Calif., and honorary matron of honor was Hilari Wulfeck of Crescent Springs, Ky., best friends of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Downs of San Francisco, Stacey Williams of Grandview, Ohio, Amy Silverstein of Columbus, Eleni Pappas of Simpsonville, S.C., Melissa Laing of Alexandria, La., all close friends of the bride, and Kelsey Culver of St. Louis Park, Minn., sister of the bridegroom and close friend of the bride. They wore ruffled one-shoulder, asymmetrically draped taffeta floor-length gowns in onyx black. They carried bouquets of magenta peonies and hydrangeas with striped ribbon detail that complimented the bride's bouquet.
The bridegroom wore a traditional black tuxedo complimented with a black and white striped bow tie.
Best men were Matthew Trombitas of Worthington, Ohio, and Zachary Reeder of Columbus, best friends of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Michael Kne of Chicago, Joseph Zaccardelli of Tampa, Fla., Matthew Stoltzfus of Columbus, David Patterson of Chicago, Ill., and Stephen Winner of Columbus, all close friends of the bridegroom. The groomsmen wore traditional black tuxedos that complimented the bridegroom's attire.
Family friend of the bride, Marie Mallett of Marietta and aunt of the bridegroom, Carol Wood of Sunbury, Ohio, were readers at the ceremony. Aunt of the bride, Sue Brant of New Freeport, Pa., and aunt of the bridegroom, Anita Wolverton of Columbus, served as greeters and guest book attendants.
Music was provided by soloist and cantor Jennifer Simmons, organist John Ontko, both of Marietta, cellist Cynthia Puls, and violinist David Puls, both of Parkersburg.
A formal dinner and dance reception was held following the ceremony in the Grand Ballroom at the Lafayette Hotel in Marietta.
After a honeymoon on the islands of Oahu, Maui, and Kauai, Hawaii, they reside in New Albany, Ohio.
