Sam and Melinda Johnson of Vienna announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura, to Chris Perry, son of Robert and Leah Perry of Frederick, Md.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Gordon and Janet Johnson of Vienna and the late John and Ellen Thorn of Grafton, W.Va. She is a 2005 graduate of Parkersburg High School and a 2009 graduate of Shepherd University.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Bob and Joyce Perry of Thurmont, Md., and the late Bailey and Martha Bryner of Frederick, Md. He is a 2008 homeschool graduate, and a 2011 graduate of Frederick Community College.
