Jerry and Sharon Gluff Winters of Lake Waccamaw, N.C., celebrated their 50th anniversary Dec. 1.
They were united in marriage at Evangelical United Brethern Church in Parkersburg with the Rev. Ray Shaffer officiating.
Prior to their retirement to Lake Waccamaw, the couple lived in Winfield, W.Va., for more than 30 years, where he worked in mining supply sales, and she worked for the Social Security Administration. He also served in the U.S. Navy.

Their children are Missy (Mike) Farrell of Mocksville, N.C., and Heather (Larry) Mabe of Troutville, Va.
They have two grandchildren.
The couple celebrated their aniversary with family and friends at Vineland Station, Whiteville, N.C.
