Nancy Delores Hetzer, 87, of Cedar Grove Personal Care, died Nov. 22, 2012, at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.
She was born in Calhoun County, W.Va., on Aug. 12, 1925, and was the daughter of the late Ira R. and Eva Mae Nutter Sampson.
She attended Calvary Community Church in Belpre. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Coolville, was an avid camper and with her husband had visited all 50 states and went to Israel.
Survivors include two sons, Jim Hetzer and friend, Linda Coate, of Columbus, Ohio, and Ed (Pat) Hetzer of Belpre; a daughter, Brenda H. Robertson of Charleston, W.Va.; grandchildren, Travis, Tara and Samantha Hetzer, Alicia (Lawrence) Shao and Sherrilyn Robertson; great-grandchildren, Reese, Carson, Baron Hetzer and David Shao; five brothers, Duane, Max, Ronzil, Bill and Don Sampson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arthur in 2011; a son-in-law, Dave Robertson; and three brothers, Theodore Riggs, Bruce Riggs and Charles Sampson.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre, with Pastor Ken Fullerton and the Rev. Jim Condrey officiating. Burial will follow in Rockland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:30 a.m. until time of services Monday.
