James A. Sullivan, 74, of Williamstown, W.Va., died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at his residence.
He was born in Williamstown, a son of the late Clarence "Ted" and Beulah Mae (Bruce) Sullivan. He worked at Fenton Glass, was a member of Boilermaker's Union and then worked at Silver Globe Manufacturing. He was a 32nd degree Mason, and member of Williamstown Masonic Lodge 129. He loved NASCAR, and drove stockcars when he was younger.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Edith (McDonald) Sullivan; daughter, Donna Darlene Seaman (Bevin) of Parkersburg; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Sullivan (Donna) of Parkersburg; and a sister, Patricia "Patty" Antill (Glen) of Marietta. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Terry McDonald; and a daughter, Beverly Ann Porter.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Dave Fetty officiating. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery in Williamstown, W.Va., with Masonic Rites by Williamstown Lodge #129. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today.
