Circuit court hears pleas

PARKERSBURG - Five hearings took place Tuesday in Wood County Circuit Court.

* David Wayne Johnson Wilson, 22, appeared in court for a plea hearing but he was referred to probation for a presentencing investigation and signed a waiver to allow the court to review the inspection prior to accepting or rejecting the plea. Judge Jeffrey Reed set a plea hearing and possible sentencing for 1:30 p.m. Jan. 28, 2013. He was indicted by the grand jury on July 18 on two charges of grand larceny, burglary, two counts of petit larceny, breaking and entering an automobile, breaking and entering, attempted grand larceny and destruction of property.

* Brian Leroy Wade, 49, in custody at the North Central Regional Jail, appeared for a plea hearing but was granted a motion by Reed for a continuance to 11 a.m. Nov. 29. He was indicted by the May 2012 grand jury on charges of breaking and entering, entering without breaking, grand larceny and petit larceny.

* Rebekah Baker, 26, 823 Stillwell Road, Walker, appeared for a plea hearing but was granted a motion for a continuance by Reed to 11 a.m. Dec. 21. She was indicted by the May 2012 grand jury on a charge of fraudulent use of an access device.

* Michael Scott Angus, 35, 713 31st St., Parkersburg, was in court for a plea hearing and was referred to probation for a presentencing investigation and signed a waiver to allow the court to review the inspection prior to accepting or rejecting the plea. A plea hearing and possible sentencing was set by Reed for 10 a.m. Feb. 11, 2013. He was indicted by the grand jury on Feb. 21 on two counts of grand larceny, transferring stolen property and conspiracy to commit grand larceny.

* Micheal Sean Lott, 37, 1803 Camden Ave., Parkersburg, entered a plea agreement with the state to plead guilty to a charge of conspiracy to commit grand larceny and his sentencing was set for 11 a.m. Feb. 22, 2013 before Judge Jeffrey Reed.
