Brenda Jewell Cole Moss, 56, of Nitro, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord and reunite with her father, whom she loved and missed greatly, on Nov. 25, 2012.
She was a faithful member of the North Charleston Apostolic Church. Brenda was born Jan. 13, 1956 in Parkersburg. She was the daughter of the late W.H. "Billy" Cole.
She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Shirley Ann Cole of Nitro; a loving husband who was her friend, strength and love of her life, Rondel Moss II of Nitro; two sons, the Rev. Anthony Moss and wife Shanna of Cross Lanes, W.Va. and Johnathan Moss and wife Kelly of Charleston; a daughter, Lavonda Garrett and her husband Brian of Nitro; granddaughters, Shiran Moss of Charleston, Alauna Moss of Cross Lanes and Shiloh Garrett of Nitro; grandsons, Isaiah Garrett of Nitro and Jeremiah Moss of Charleston.
From the very beginning of her life, the hand of God was upon her and used her mightily. At the age of 4, she along with her parents, began their missionary work in Thailand. She personally introduced many to the wonderful truth of the oneness of God, baptism in Jesus' name and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost. God continued to use her in ministry throughout her years to strengthen, support, encourage and introduce many more to His wonderful truth. Her impact on the Kingdom will fully be revealed in eternity.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the North Charleston Apostolic Church, 2400 Sixth Ave., Charleston, WV 25387. Services will follow at 7 p.m. Entombment will be at the Tyler Mountain Memorial Gardens.
