Iowa 79, No. 12 West Virginia 70

MIAMI (AP) - Jaime Printy made all 17 of her free throws and scored 19 points as Iowa rallied from a seven-point halftime deficit to defeat No. 12 West Virginia 79-70 Sunday at the FIU Thanksgiving Classic.

Thirteen of Printy's free throws came in the second half, when the Hawkeyes (5-2) used a 24-8 run to lead 67-60 with 2:12 remaining.

She made eight free throws in the final 45 seconds.

Morgan Johnson also scored 19 points, including 14 in the second half, for Iowa, which made 27 of 30 free throws (90 percent) after halftime. The Hawkeyes also were sharp from the field after the break, making 59.1 percent (13 of 22), while the Mountaineers (3-2) made just 30.8 percent (12 of 39).

Taylor Palmer scored 23 points and Christal Caldwell 17 for West Virginia, which also lost Friday to LSU.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Limiting Southern to just 10 points in the final 17 minutes of play, the Herd overcame the Jaguars, 57-47, on Sunday afternoon in the final game of the A&M Classic.

The Thundering Herd improved to 3-2 on the season and finished the weekend 1-1 in Reed Arena after losing to Marquette on Friday. Southern dropped to 0-5 for the season.

Orlandria Williams was named to the All-Classic team after finishing the weekend with 15 points, putting up seven against Southern. She was 7-of-8 from the free throw line against the Jaguars and finished with two assists and a steal.

Veronica Ruiz led the Herd with 12 points, going 4-for-8 from the field and adding two three-pointers. The senior forward earned her first double-double of the season after finishing with 10 rebounds.

No. 16 Ohio State 82, Wright State 52

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Tayler Hill scored 17 points and No. 16 Ohio State breezed to its fourth consecutive win, and 25th straight at home, 82-52 over Wright State on Sunday.

The Buckeyes (4-1) scored the first nine points and led 22-4 with 11:55 remaining in the first half after a 3-pointer by Hill. Amber Stokes scored 11 of her 13 points in the first half as Ohio State took a 42-25 halftime lead.

The Raiders (2-2) trailed 51-33 with 15:38 left in the game before Ohio State began a 9-0 run that included two steals by Stokes.

Ohio State shot 48.5 percent (33 of 68) for the game to Wright State's 31.0 percent (18 of 58) and forced 22 turnovers by the Raiders. Hill had five steals and eight rebounds for the Buckeyes.

Duquesne 62, Ohio 55

ATHENS, Ohio - Junior Shavon Robinson scored a team-high 18 points, but it was not enough as the Ohio University Women's Basketball Team (1-3) dropped a 62-55 decision to Duquesne Sunday afternoon at the Convocation Center.

Robinson scored 10 of her 18 points in the second half. She finished the game by going 4-of-9 from the field and 2-of 3 from beyond the arc. Sophomore teammate Mariah Byard also ended in double figures as she finished with 10 points. She also dished out a game-high four assists.

Senior guard Ashley Fowler picked up seven rebounds, tying a career high set during the 2010-11 season against Miami. She was an important part of a second half during which the Green and White out-rebounded Duquesne 17-12.

Belma Nurkic led the way for Duquesne, scoring 19 points on 5-of-11 shooting. She had a very strong second half, as 16 of her points came in the final 20 minutes of the game. Nurkic and the Dukes shot 24-of-58 (41.4 percent) from the field, including an 8-of-21 (38.1 percent) mark from three-point range. Wumi Agunbiade led all players with 13 rebounds.
