This isn't a "Blame Obama" letter. America is in trouble, deeper than I ever remember. Maybe someone older can remember a post-election, 50-state call for secession, but I can't. To say America is in trouble is an understatement. America is dead broke, and borrowing money from China. I never dreamed I would see America, the richest, most powerful country on the planet, borrowing money from China.
America has become a welfare state, and why? America has "kicked God to the curb." Far too many Americans have no knowledge of God. Too many Americans don't believe in Him, or worship Him. We aren't allowed to mention His name in school. Prayer isn't allowed in school. We can't display the Ten Commandments in public places. As a nation, we are denying God. Our government has been "ordering" that for too long.
Throughout history, there were "most powerful nations on earth." For example, there was the Roman Empire, the Greek Empire, the Babylonian Empire. Where are they now? They all fell, for many of the same reasons America is falling. You say America will never fall? Tens of thousands of people in 50 states have signed petitions to secede. If divided again, America will surely fall.
Abortion is rampant. America has killed more babies than the German government killed Jews during the Holocaust. Does anyone think God will continue to tolerate America's spitting on Him? Will God allow America to continually deny Him? Here's your sign: Read Deuteronomy 8:19-20.
I am quoting the King James Version of the Holy Bible. "And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the Lord thy God, and walk after other Gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish. As the Nations which the Lord destroyeth before your face, so shall ye perish because ye would not be obedient unto the voice of the Lord your God."
Does anyone still think America isn't in trouble? This nation needs to turn back to God and welcome Him home.
