Elinor and George Norris will celebrate their 70th anniversary with family and friends with an open house from 3-6 p.m. Nov. 24 at the Belpre Shriners Club.
They were married Nov. 15, 1942, at Rockland United Methodist Church in Belpre.
She is the daughter of the late Pearl and Guy Tippens.

They have four daughters, Tammy Miller of St. Cloud, Fla., Cindy Miller of Devola, Judy Ford of Pawleys Island, S.C., and Sandra Wingrove of Belpre.
They are grandparents to 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
