As I started reading this book, "When The Whistle Blows," I got a sad feeling, not about the book, but about the America I knew when I was growing up. The time when my siblings and I were young and we were allowed to go the park by ourselves. We swam, played tennis and rode our bikes all over the neighborhood. Our parents did not have to worry. Now you have to worry about children playing in their own yard.
The time when having sex meant waiting on marriage. We were taught to wait. Then the '60s came, called the "Me Generation," to heck with the God-given rules. With it came drugs, alcohol and sexual diseases increased greatly.
The children back then had an innocence about them that is being lost today. The TV shows we watched were not that offensive. Today most commercials have a sexual overtone. Sex is portrayed as a freedom. But in reality, it is slavery to sin. People use each other for pleasure which leads to other sins. Pornography, sexual trafficking, crimes against children and sexual disease keep on rising.
What God has written is his truth. He made us for him. When we go against him, we lose. The Holy Bible was written for our own good. He made sex strictly for procreation to be joined in holy marriage and for the mother and father to raise their children. As far as rape, incest, casual sex, these are sins. It wasn't in God's ordaining will to have this happen. As with every other sin God permits it is because he gave man free will. He won't interfere because, he wants you to choose Him.
So you see sin multiplies and innocent children are murdered by abortion and it affects everyone and the whole world suffers because of it. Instead of turning to God and repenting of our sins. We keep on sinning leaning unto our own understanding.
They call it freedom of choice. We are destroying ourselves and bring God's justice down from Heaven. Our foundation One Nation under God is crumbling. Who is listening?
