Kristin Sue Alastanos and Christopher Brian Kellar were united in marriage on Aug. 18 at the Morgantown Church of Christ. The double-ring ceremony was performed by Evangelist Kevin Bibbee, uncle of the groom, of Hickory, N.C.

The bride is the daughter of Chris and Pam Alastanos of Stonewood, W.Va. She is the granddaughter of Angelo Alastanos and the late Susan Alastanos of Clarksburg and Chuck and Marion Powell of Nutter Fort, W.Va.

She is a 2004 graduate of Robert C. Byrd High School and a 2008 graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in medical technology. She is a medical technologist at West Virginia University Hospital in Morgantown.

The groom is the son of Rick and Pam Kellar of Williamstown.

He is the grandson of RIchard and Marilyn Kellar of Williamstown and the late Chuck and Norma Jean Bibbee and the late Mary Bibbee.

He is a 2001 graduate of Williamstown High School and a 2005 graduate of Marietta College with a degree in allied health.

He is a field service representative at West Virginia University Hospital Laboratories in Morgantown.

The bride, escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, wore a white fitted gown. The sweetheart-cut bodice was strapless and the back had a full button closure. Layers of lace, organza and feathers adorned the floor-length skirt.

She carried a bouquet of white roses tied with a white satin ribbon.

Maid of honor was Angela Alastanos, sister of the bride of Stonewood. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Knoll, friend of the bride, of Morgantown, and Brittany Allman, friend of the bride, of Bridgeport.

The bridesmaids wore fitted floor-length dresses of coral with a strapless bodice.

They carried bouquets of coral roses tied with coral satin ribbon.

Serving as best man was Steven Kellar, uncle of the groom, of Morgantown. Groomsmen were Brent Burns, friend of the groom, of Morgantown and Don Boyikin, friend of the groom, of Morgantown. Ring bearer was Landin Gillum, nephew of the bride, of Stonewood.

A reading was presented by Tonya Kellar, aunt of the groom of Morgantown.

A dinner reception was held at Lakeview Golf Resort in Morgantown.

After a honeymoon to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple resides in Morgantown.
