Together with their parents, Natasha Marie Davis and Gerard Lafayette Moore announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jay and Wazetta E. Davis of Parkersburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Johnny W. Latham and Mattie C. Latham of Parkersburg, Francis M. Davis of Parkersburg and the late Aloysius L. Davis Jr. of Parkersburg.
She graduated from Parkersburg High School and received a bachelor's degree in psychology and sociology at Glenville State College. She plans to attend West Virginia University in the fall 2013 to pursue a master's degree in social work. She is employed by the Children's Home Society of West Virginia, Arthur N. Gustke Child Shelter, as a shelter shift supervisor and case coordinator in Parkersburg.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Ronald and Genita Moore of Clinton, N.C. He is the grandson of the late John and Nedia F. Rayner of Clinton and the late Luther and Annie B. Moore of Clinton. He graduated from Clinton High School and received a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro, N.C.. He received a master's degree in chemical engineering at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. He is employed by DuPont Washington Works as a process engineer.
A wedding is planned for March 23 at Tupper Memorial Baptist Church with a reception to follow at the North Carolina Museum of History in Raleigh.
The couple resides in Belpre.
