New York Times bestselling author Rocco DiSpirito gives readers a new taste of Italian with recipes under 350 calories in "Now Eat This! Italian."
DiSpirito shows real Italian mothers how to take favorite authentic Italian recipes and bring down the calories and fat while still keeping the flavor.
The book is divided into Antipasti, Soups and Salads, Contorni, Panini and Pizza, Pasta and Risotto, Secondi and Dolci.
Antipasti contains recipes like Salad of Prosciutto and Melon (at only 96 calories), Garlic Bread (139 calories), Un-Fried Rice Balls (189 calories) and more.
Soups and Salads contain recipes like Caprese Salad (at 167 calories,) Panzanella (at 135 calories) and Pasta e Fagioli (at 181 calories.)
Contorni contains recipes like Marinated Mushrooms (at 53 calories), Peas and Pancetta (at 111 calories) and Stuffed Tomatoes (at 179 calories.)

I made Baked Ziti one evening for my family. Using canned lower-fat no sugar added sauce and fat-free ricotta and fresh mozzarella, as well as whole wheat pasta, this satisfied all pasta cravings and only came in at 341 calories a serving. Served with a side salad, this made for a healthy and very delious meal!
