Voters in Washington County have a choice, Cora Marshall or Ron Feathers for commissioner. Cora is the "mother" of the ongoing county sanitary sewer projects.
Just a reminder: That all communities in our county are at the mercy of the commissioners. The current commissioners have a "sweet" deal going on. It is, find a problem with your septic tank, get the Ohio EPA involved, and, presto, your addition will have a new sewer system. The deal: The homeowners pay for the entire sewer system, the connection to the sewer and the destruction of the old septic tank - out of their own pocket - plus send the county $56 a month, (future increases controlled solely by commissioners).
I have talked with Ron Feathers and he is vehemently opposed to such a "deal." So, the choice is Cora Marshall (pro sewers) or Ron Feathers (anti sewers).
