Nadine “Dean” Duskey

Nadine Kathlene Duskey, 95, of Parkersburg passed away on Oct. 29, 2012, at Cedar Grove Personal Care.

She was born in Clarksburg, W.Va. on July 14, 1917, the daughter of the late Clarence W. Sr. and Anna Luthringer Gilbert.

Nadine retired from the Wood County Clerk's office and was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church where she had been active with the Rosary Altar Guild.

Surviving are her son John P. Duskey and wife Janet, two grandchildren Laura Brooke and Andrew P., all of Durham, N.C.. and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband S. P. "Shud" Duskey and two sisters Margaret Hill and Wanda Cooper, and one brother Clarence W. Gilbert, Jr.

The service will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Father Neil Buchlein officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg.
