Robert Paul Cozzens, 76, of Belpre, Ohio, died Oct. 26, 2012, at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.
He was born in Broadwell, Ohio, on Nov. 4, 1935, to the late Rolla Dean and Pearl Burnfield Cozzens.
After high school, Robert went into the military and served as a Sergeant in the Marine Corps during the Korean conflict. He worked at Keyser Aluminum as a printing press operator for 35 years. He was a member of Odd Fellows Lodge and a lifetime member of VFW Post 1212.
He is survived by two sons, Scott Cozzens (Shawna) of Vincent, Ohio, and Jeff Cozzens (Jean) of Florence, S.C.; three grandchildren, Kristin, Kaitlyn and Anna Cozzens; one brother, John Cozzens (Barbara) of Belpre; and one sister, Lucille White of Stockport, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Kerby Cozzens; and nine brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre, with Pastor Mark Eaton officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 1-3 p.m. Tuesday.
