October 28, 2012
Parkersburg News and Sentinel

PARKERSBURG - WorkForce West Virginia encourages individuals with limited access to the Internet or high-speed broadband service to use the new public computer center at the WorkForce West Virginia Parkersburg office at 300 Lakeview Center.

The free high speed public computer center can help students and the public with resume preparation, online job searches and applications, and research papers or homework assignments.

The computer center can help individuals get their GED online and participate in online classes and training. The public computer centers are funded by a grant from the Broadband Technology Opportunities Program under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

More information and a list of all WorkForce West Virginia locations are available online at www.workforcewv.org or by calling 1-800-252-5627.
