Beverly J. Hellein, 77, of Belpre, died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, at the Marietta Care and Rehab in Marietta.
She was born in Uniontown, Pa. on Jan. 8, 1935 and was the daughter of the late William J. and Jessie Ellen DeWalt Means. She was an RN and had worked for Housecall/Hospice for eight years. She had been a member of the Rockland United Methodist Church and the Lynn Street Church of Christ. She was a member of the Wesley Circle and the United Methodist Women and active in the Belpre Area Ministries.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Hellein; a son, Brian (Lori) Hellein of Belpre; three daughters, Kim (Mike) Wile of Belpre, Pam (Jim) Thesing of Daniel Island, S.C., Jill (Paul) Davis of Vincent, Ohio. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Greg Wile, Kurt Wile, Morgan Hellein, Gabe Thesing, Heath Blair, Courtney Hellein, Noah Thesing, Garrett Hellein, Jacob Davis, Madison Hellein, and Caleb Davis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Gregg Hellein and a brother William Means.
Services will be on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre with Teddy Tackett officiating. Entombment will be on Monday, Oct. 29, at 2 p.m. at the Sylvan Heights Cemetery in Uniontown, Pa. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Sunday.
