Jonathan "Jon" L. Harris, 29, Belmont, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, at Carehaven of Pleasants.
Born in Sistersville, W.Va., on June 30, 1983, he was the son of Mark Harris and Pam McBrayer. He was active in FFA in high school, was a security guard for I Max Security, and trained to be an electrician with his father. Survivors other than his mom and dad include a sister, Kathy (J.R.) Simonton; one step brother, Howard McBrayer; one step sister, Cristina Ephaw; step father, Marty McBrayer; one niece, Ashley Simonton; grandparents, Jim and Nina Chipps; grandmother, Bernice Fluharty; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service will be 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at Ingram Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Bennett officiating. Friends may call from 1-5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. An online guest register is available at www.ingramfh.com.
