Dale H. Loudermilk

Dale H. Loudermilk, 54, of Vienna, passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 20, 2012, at the Greenbrier Memorial Hospital in Lewisburg, W.Va.

He was born in Montgomery, W.Va., on Feb. 25, 1958, the son of Louis and Barbara Bentzel Loudermilk of Clintonville, W.Va.

Dale graduated from Dupont High School in Belle, W.Va., in 1976, and from West Virginia Tech in 1984. He had worked as a police officer in Dunbar and currently as an engineer at Kraton. Dale was an avid Mountaineer fan and outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and hiking, but will be most remembered for his loyalty to his family and friends. He was always there to make sure those he cared for were okay. He loved his family, friends and God and was a member of the Celebration Center of Belpre.

In addition to his parents, Dale is survived by his wife of 32 years, Debbie Marks Loudermilk; children, David Loudermilk of Snowshoe, W.Va., and Lindsay Holbert and husband, Trent of, Vienna; sisters, Libby Marks of Charleston and Lisa Moore of Maldern, W.Va.; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Pastor Rob Clegg officiating. Burial will be at Bennett Place in Clintonville, W.Va., on Thursday. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, and for one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.

The family has requested that memorials be made in Dale's memory to the Celebration Center of Belpre, Washington Blvd., Belpre, OH 45714.
