William Michael "Bill" Brannon, 68, of Parkersburg, passed away Oct. 20, 2012, at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.
He was born Oct. 16, 1944, at Camden, N.J., a son of the late William Ernest and Janie Geraldine Baker Brannon.
Bill had worked as an operating engineer and had served two tours of duty in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the VFW, the DAV and he enjoyed singing karaoke.
Surviving are two sons, Michael E. Brannon of Elizabeth and Captain John Gregory "Greg" Brannon, serving with the U.S. Army in Afghanistan; a daughter, Jennifer Brannon of Parkersburg; two grandchildren, Emily Brannon and Alexandria Brannon; and two brothers, David R. Brannon and Ronald L. Brannon, both of Parkersburg.
There will be no services and no visitation.
