Helen Florine Wilson, 94, of Parkersburg, passed away Oct. 19, 2012, at Parkersburg Care and Rehabilitation.
She was born June 9, 1918, in Wood County, a daughter to the late Herman and Elsie Martin.
She was retired from Wood County Schools after serving as a cook for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph C. Wilson Sr.; son, Ralph C. Wilson Jr.; and daughter-in-law, Donna Wilson.
She is survived by her sons, Robert W. Wilson of Clarksville, Tenn., and Douglas Martin Wilson (Marilyn) of Ormond Beach, Fla.; daughters, Donna Jean Martin (Calvin) of Parkersburg and Barbara Ellen Richards (Bill) of Parkersburg; daughter-in-law, Diane Wilson; grandchildren, Brenda Carpenter (Bryan), Kevin Martin (Kathy), Brian Richards (Amanda), Jeff Wilson (Tammy), Greg Wilson, Robert Wilson Jr. (Nina) and Miles Wilson; 17 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Pastor Dana Slingluff officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
