I have known David White for many years. Our kids grew up together, and I have served with him on a local leadership committee for several years. So, I have seen him at home and in a work environment. I have always found him to be honest, hard working, consistent, caring and conscientious.
As a First Ward resident I have found him to be available, approachable and understanding. He is always able to hear concerns and responds to them quickly. For instance, when the state of Ohio was going to take months to outlaw bath salts, he spearheaded a city ordinance to immediately outlaw them in Marietta. When the state of Ohio shut down the Washington Street bridge for three months, he, as chairman of the transportation and streets committee, orchestrated an agreement with several trucking companies to keep them in business with minimal impact to the community, saving dozens of jobs and the local economy.
David White will make an excellent county commissioner, so please vote for him.
