Charles M. Hamilton, 64, of Parkersburg, passed away Oct. 17, 2012, at his residence.
He was born July 10, 1948, in Charleston W.Va., a son of the late William and Helen Channel Hamilton.
He attended the Heart of Worship Church, and retired from Labor Union Local 1085.
He is survived by three sons, Chuck Hamilton, Jeff (Kathy) Hamilton and Gage Bonnett, all of Parkersburg; seven grandchildren, Charlie, Cory, Katelyn, Hunter, and Kristen Hamilton, Caden Duley, and Chloe Bonnette; two sisters, Becky Gibson of Belpre, Ohio, and Edie Hamilton of Vienna, W.Va.; five brothers, Curtis, Terry, David, Jimmy and Bobby Hamilton, all of Parkersburg; several nieces and nephews; three good friends, Tony Parsons, Jed Fordyce and Mike Chaffin; and all others who helped him through his troubled times.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shelia Diane Bonnette Hamilton; two sisters, Laura Cline and Cheryl Hamilton; and one brother, Billy Hamilton.
Funeral services will be conducted 4 p.m. Saturday, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St., Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Ron Hendershot officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until time of services at 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
