Carolyn Marie Fleming, 70, of Belpre, died Oct. 13, 2012, at the Arbors of Marietta.
She was born Jan. 22, 1942 in Plain City, Ohio, a daughter of the late Herschel and Alice Ruth Clark Bishop. She was a homemaker and member of the Assembly of God Church. She loved to crochet, cross-stitch and read.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Herbert Frederick Fleming; two sons, Allen Fleming of Little Hocking, Ohio and Jerry Lee Fleming of Alabama; one daughter, Robin Lynn Montgomery of Columbus, Ohio; one brother, Robert Lee Bishop of Crystal Springs, Ill.; two sisters, Patty Kyer and Mary Beyer; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and her closest friends, Diane Parker and Lucy Stephens. In addition to her parents, her stepfather, Lawrence Abels, preceded her in death.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre, with Pastor Tony Raffa officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
