Clell Wilt, 95, of Vienna was called to be with his Lord and Savior, who was first in his life, Oct. 12, 2012, at Camden Clark Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 25, 1917, in Gilmer County, W.Va., a son of the late Leslie and Della Roberts Wilt. Clell attended Cornerstone Gospel Church in Vienna. He proudly served his country in the Army and retired from Union Carbide Metals in Marietta in 1976.
He is survived by his wife and best friend of 60 years, Evelyn "Ebbie" Miller Wilt; one daughter, Diana Baker of Newport, Ohio; one son, Ed Wilt and wife Joyce of Buckhannon, W.Va.; three grandchildren, Russ Hockenberry, Sherry Roberts and Phillip Wilt; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother; one sister; and one grandson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna, with Pastor Rick Kapple and Pastor Barry Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
