Fall festival to be held Saturday

Morgan South Fall Festival will be held Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. Games are 12:30-3:30 p.m., "Let's make a Deal" at 12:30-3:30 p.m. Basket raffle, homemade deserts, games and prizes and everyone is welcome to attend.

A one day Women's Retreat will be held at Todd's United Methodist Church Oct. 20 at 9 a.m. All women are invited to attend.

Trick or treat will be Oct. 31 from 6-7 p.m. Weiner roast will be held at the firehouse, sponsored by Pennsville Volunteer Fire Department.

Tickets for a gun raffle for an 870 Remington Express Combo are available from any firefighter. The drawing will be at the fish fry on Nov. 3 from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Pennsville Volunteer Fire Department.

Robert, Sherri and Alex Maxwell visited at the home of James and Beverly Sealock on Saturday and enclosed the side porch.

The funeral for Connie Wallace of Somerset was held on Wednesday at the Somerset Funeral Home. Burial was at the Glouster Cemetery. A dinner was held at the home of Mary Yerian's home for the people attending the funeral.

Mae Milhoan was unable due to health reasons.

On Friday Bev Sidwell went to a ball game at Ohio University.

On Saturday she went to Ohio University to two more ball games. On Saturday Mae Milhoan had a nice conversation on the telephone with Mary Nichols. They want together at Homer Union and have been life-long friends.

On Monday Bev. Sidwell brought her mother a little three-year-old dog and Mae said the dog hasn't driven her sick by the way it acts.
