J.W. "Bill" Morrison, 79, of Little Hocking, passed away Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at his residence.
John was born Monday, May 15, 1933 in Maggie, W.Va., to the late Roma Guy and Armo Louise Mitchell Morrison. He was an Operating Engineer for Union Local #132.
John is survived by his wife, Dianna L. Murphy Morrison, whom he married May 28, 1976 in Pearisburg, Va.; daughters, Terry L. Lively (Garry) and Penny Thomas, both of Point Pleasant, W.Va. and Angelia Harshbarger (Glen) and Paula McCarty, both of Parkersburg; 12 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Alice Schultz; and mother and fathers-in-law.
