Kay Joyce and Ronald Howard Place Sr. celebrated their 50th anniversary.
They were married Oct. 6, 1962, at Vincent United Methodist Church.
He is the son of the late Margaret and Karl Place.

They have two children, Barbara (Michael) Place Kucera of Concord, N.C., and Ron (Karen) Place Jr. of Getzville, N.Y. They have five grandchildren, Anthony, Jacob and Jonah Place and Kevin and Katherine Kucera.
