Roy and Roxie Martin of Parkersburg celebrated their 70th anniversary with family and friends at Radford, Va. They were married by the Rev. J.B. Daugherty on Aug. 22, 1942, at Runal Retreat, Va.
He is the son of the late John and Nannie Martin of Montgomery County, Va.
She is the daughter of W.L. and Maud Duncan of Radford, Va.
